Larry D. Goodnow

Larry Goodnow, age 69, died Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Clinton. He was born on October 25, 1954, in Oklahoma. Larry graduated from Wilmington Vermont High School and attended college at Vermont Technical College. He married Sharon Zenner on May 29, 1987.

He enjoyed playing poker with friends and reading crime and detective novels. Larry also enjoyed listening to blues music- specifically Eric Clapton and watching action movies.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Goodnow of Clinton; his two daughters, Brianna (Corey) Monin, Dana (Cy) Putirskis; grandchildren, Ivy and Nolan Putirskis, his father, Charles; brother Randy (Melonie) Goodnow; his sister, Carla (Ron) Chaffee; his two close friends, Mark & Kerry Steward and many other in-laws, friends, and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Pigott.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in Clinton, as well as the staff at Beloit Memorial Hospital for the care they gave Larry.

Larry’s Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, in BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOMES, 504 Milwaukee Road, Clinton. Friends will be received on Friday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
