Linda Pohl Obituary

Linda I. Pohl age 71 of Genoa City and formerly of Beloit died Monday January 4, 2021 in her home. She was born March 18, 1949 to the late Robert and Genevieve (Miller) Pohl in Beloit, WI. She graduated from Brodhead High School, class of 1967. Linda lived with Terry and Gwennie Riese Family for over 18 years. They were not only caregivers but treated her as family as they provided for her love, belonging and stability. She attended the Kandu Adult Day Care program for 10 years. Linda enjoyed the activities and friendships. She was a member of Rock County Community Support Program for 39 years. In this program she made numerous friends and was a joy to be with.

Linda loved to sing, laugh, listen to music, shop for clothes, give to others, visit with friends and had a fondness for children and pets. She excelled at bowling and was very happy when she beat her personal records. She was fashionable, loving, kind and giving. She had a gentle way about her that made her precious to anyone who was gifted to know her.

Linda is survived by many friends and colleagues.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

We would like to extend a big thank you to all the caregivers who assisted Linda over the years.
