Louis & Mary Ann Dennis Jr. Obituary

Louis E Dennis, Jr., age 82, of Paxton MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2023. He was born, raised and educated in Beloit, WI, the only son of the late Louis E Dennis, Sr. and Madonna L. (Baptist) Dennis. It was there that he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1965. Louis worked as a manager of engineering at Beloit Corp for many years. He was known for being a Master Woodcarver and especially enjoyed carving birds. He loved teaching the craft to others. 

Mary Ann Dennis of Paxton, MA passed away on July 18, 2020, at home with her beloved daughter and husband at her side. She was 78. Mary Ann spent her early life in Beloit, WI. Her parents were Laurence Raymond and Delores "Dee" (Howell) Raymond. Mary Ann was a loving wife and homemaker. Later she worked as a bank teller in Wisconsin and Oregon before moving with Louis to Paxton, MA where they lived for their last 42 years. She loved bright flowers and birds and was an avid reader. 

Louis and Mary Ann are survived by their children, Louis E Dennis, III and his wife Michelle of Clinton, WI, and Kathi A Doroshenko and her husband John of Hillsborough, NJ; and four grandchildren: Robin and Erin Dennis, and Andrew and Peter Doroshenko. 

Mary Ann and Louis' Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in the Shopiere Cemetery with Rev. Cathy Manthei officiating. Full Military Burial Rites and burial will follow the service. Friends and family will gather at the Shopiere Tap afterwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St. Worcester, MA 01605 (www.veteransinc.org).  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on the website.
