Marian M. (Leverenz) Eckelberg Obituary

Marian Marie Eckelberg, 91 of Clinton, WI passed away September 15, 2025, in the Alden Meadows Nursing Home. She was born to Henry and Edna Leverenz on September 5, 1934, in Summit Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin. Marian married the late Charles Allen Eckelberg on July 4, 1959. Together, they were members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beloit, WI. 

Throughout her life, Marian worked for Admiral TV Assembly in Harvard, IL, and then Freeman Shoes in Beloit, WI until her retirement. She was an avid gardener, who loved canning, and cooking for her large family, holidays, family reunions and gatherings, live bands and polka.

Marian is survived by her brother, Marvin A. Leverenz, her nieces; Tina Leverenz/Brelsford, Sandra K. Leverenz Hedricks, Kandis Warner, Kathy (Doug) Parish and Korina (Kip) Noll, her nephews; Robert L. Leverenz, Craig A. Leverenz, Gene Todd, Gary Todd, Kris (Brenda) Eckelberg, Kenny (Debbie) Eckelberg and Kelly Eckelberg, her great nieces; Tia (Jimmy) Martinez, Kimberly Warner, Kacey Eckelberg, Lisha (Jake) Nehls, Erica (Shirley) Noll, Maria (Steve) Fromm and Jyana Noll, and her great nephews; Derek (Billie Jo) Warner, Travis (Lisa) Parish, Darin (Marty) Eckelberg, Ryan (Amanda) Eckelberg, Tyler (Brook) Eckelberg, along with many other extended family members in the Elroy and Wonewoc WI area .

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, her stepmother, Adiline, her brother, Max H. Leverenz, her niece, Judy A. Leverenz/Maxwell, her sister, Marciel L. Manske, her nephews, Burce F. Manske and Jared Warner, her great nephew Kyle Eckelberg, and many more family members.

Marian’s memorial service will be held at the Brian Mark Funeral home in Beloit, WI on October 15, 2025, at 12 noon.
