Marilyn M Fruzen Obituary
Beloit – Marilyn Fruzen, age 94, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at Riverside Terrace. She was born in Green Bay, WI on January 20, 1932, to Henry V. Tease Sr. and Arvilla Tease. Marilyn graduated from East High School, Green Bay, WI in 1949. She married the love of her life of Francis Fruzen on September 11, 1954, in Green Bay, WI. Francis and Marilyn moved to Beloit in 1956, due to Francis taking a teaching position with Beloit Memorial High School.
Marilyn worked at Beloit Corporation for 10 years, leaving in 1969 to open the Loewi & Company, a branch of a Milwaukee brokerage firm; she became their office manager. She retired in 1992. Upon retirement she worked part time for many years for Elder Beerman. Marilyn also volunteered for many years for Beloit Hospice in the office. She loved to sew and quilt, making clothes for her grandchildren, and making doll clothing.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 71 years; Francis Fruzen, daughter Cathy (Tim) Mueller, two grandchildren; Scott (Samantha) Mueller and Amanda (Jeff) Carron, four great grandchildren; Lauren Carron, Jonathan Carron, Max Mueller, and Luke Mueller, sister-in-law Geraldine Tease, one niece, two nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; her brother; Henry V Tease Jr.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 737 Hackett St. Beloit, WI 53511 on Monday July 13, 2026, at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beloit Regional Hospice.
