Marilyn Treder Obituary

Marilyn Jean Treder age 96 of Beloit, WI died Monday February 24, 2020 in her home. She was born October 24, 1923 to the late Guy Antwine and Kathryn (Schwerin) Obershaw in Cassville, WI. Marilyn graduated from Cassville High School, class of 1941. She married Wilfred F.W. Treder on October 24, 1945 in Beloit. He Preceded her in death on March 10, 1987. Marilyn was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Beloit. She enjoyed sewing, reading and was an avid Cub fan.

She is survived by her three children, Emily (Ian) Nie, Ruth (John) Bishop of Beloit and Paul  (Stacy) Treder of Janesville; six grandchildren, Kari Reid, Christian (Elvia) Reid, Heather (Chris) Pearson, Stephanie Bishop, Laurie Bishop & Chad Bishop; four great grandchildren, Victor Reid, Alex Reid, Zoey Pearson & Hunter Bishop-Steele; her siblings, Sandra (Michael) Smyth, and Richard (Elaine) Obershaw; two sons in law, Bill Reid & Rick Rath and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother Doris, her husband, her two daughters, Kathleen Reid and Marjean Rath, her siblings, Robert Obershaw, Delores Blackburn, Walter Obershaw, Patricia Smith and Bruce Obershaw.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Suites of Beloit for the care they gave Marilyn.

Marilyn's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 29, 2020 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway with Rev. Dennis M. Roser officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service in Eastlawn Cemetery. Memorials to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church.
