Mary Redmond Wilson Beloit Mary Redmond Wilson age 83 of Beloit, passed away Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in South Beloit. She was born March 21, 1931 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of John Joseph and Lucy Martha (Sorenson) Redmond. She graduated from Beloit High School, class of 1949. She Married Alan Wilson on May 10, 1952 in Beloit, WI. Mary was an active member of River of Life United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Beloit Historical Society. She worked at Beloit Cable TV; Wagner’s Office Supply and American Greeting Card Company. After her retirement, she kept active with volunteering and work at her church. Mary enjoyed visiting family and friends and several trips to Ireland, her father’s homeland. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alan; her five children; Kent (Danie) Wilson, Sheboygan, WI; Cindy (Mike) Udell, South Beloit, IL; Dawn (Andy) Van Brocklin, Fort Atkinson, WI; Denise (Jeff) Keller, Marion, WI; and Brian Wilson, Beloit, WI; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Dottie) Redmond and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers John, Charles and Martin Redmond; sisters Adeline Delaney and Lucille Mattison. Mary’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Noon on Friday February 27, 2015 at the RIVER OF LIFE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2345 Prairie Avenue, Beloit with Rev. David Carlson officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at church 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial is being established in her name.
