Mavis M. Loescher, 90, of Appleton, Wi formerly of Beloit, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at The Eagle Point Senior Living in Appleton. 

She was born July 22, 1935, in Ashton, IL; the daughter of the late Wilbur and Muriel (Vessels) Meister. She married George Loescher on April 26, 1952, he preceded her in death on January 9, 2004. Mavis worked as a retail merchandiser for many years.  

Mavis enjoyed going antiquing with her husband, gardening, and making her home warm and cozy. She was a champion crafter and quilter. Mavis was a member of the Appleton Alliance Church, Appleton WI, where she knew the Lord and served him her entire life. She was known to be a chocolate lover, and her grandchildren would say she was a “cool grandma”. Mavis will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. 

Survivors include her children Randy (Kathy) Loescher, and Richelle Hudson; grandchildren, Sam and Seth Salamone, Derek (Melissa) Loescher, Erin (Jason) DeZwarte, Sarah (Georges) Hanna, Jamie Loescher, and Stefany Caudill; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, Grant “Rick” Loescher, son-in-law, John Hudson and daughter, Robin Osness. 

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Rock Valley Chapel, 2780 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI 53511. A Visitation of Remembrance will be from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. The burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Beloit, WI.
