Maxine Sue Stout, 75, of Beloit passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and close friends on December 28, 2025. She was born on June 15, 1950 to the late Laverne and Berdella (Baker) Minor; she also loved and adored her bonus dad; Hugh Standiford. Maxine was a 1968 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. She married Roger M. Stout on July 6, 1991, he predeceased her on June 1, 2013. Together they shared 22 years of marriage.

Maxine spent her career as a jeweler’s assistant at Brill Jewelers. She was a member of Sun Valley Presbyterian Church. Maxine enjoyed gambling, bingo, golfing, having coffee with her friends, traveling, and watching Wheel of Fortune. She was an avid Green Bay Packer and NASCAR fan, but above all she loved being a mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. 

Survivors include her two sons; Matthew (Victoria) Thomas, Jamie Thomas; step-daughter; Carmen Bartram; grandchildren; Brittney (Jon), Danielle (Zack), Samantha (Cody); great-grandchildren; Olivia, and Adeline; siblings; Twin sister, Marlene, Debbie (Brad), Steven (Cherri); bonus-siblings; Russell, Harold, Brad, Billy, Mary, and Ruth; best-friends; Annie (Dave) Murphy, Nancy Johnson, Sherri Thomas, and Laura (Nick) Carter. She was preceded in death by; her parents, son; Blakely Thomas; husband; Roger; two sisters; first husband and father of her children; David “Cricket” Thomas.

A funeral service will take place at Brian Mark Funeral Home, 1000 E Inman Pkwy, Beloit on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11AM.
