Michael "Mike" D. Kuhnle

Michael D. Kuhnle age 70 of Beloit died Tuesday November 20, 2018 in his home. He was born March 10, 1948 to the late Harold and Alice (Proctor) Kuhnle in Beloit. Mike graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1967. He married Elizabeth Ann Earle on May 3, 1969 at Sun Valley Presbyterian Church. Mike was a faithful and active member of Peoples' Church. He worked at Chrysler for 33 years, retiring in 2001. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and bowling. He was a great story teller and always wanted to share a funny joke. Mike was devoted to his family and community, active in volunteerism and always willing to help someone in need. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and a Man of God.

He is survived by his wife, Liz Kuhnle; his four daughters, Tammy Kuhnle, Rosemary (John Villarreal) Kuhnle, Michelle (Martin) McCollum and Sarah (Kris) Hayden; 10 grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan (Alyssa), Brandon, Aaron, Payton, Jacob, Timothy (Caitlyn) Alyson, Gregory & Nathan; six great grandchildren; his sister, Mary (Tom) Swezey and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Michael and his five brothers, James, George, William, John and Richard

The family would like to thank Sara & Crystal of Mercy Hospice and the entire staff at Mercy Health System that cared for Mike.

Mike's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in PEOPLE'S CHURCH, 340 West Grand Avenue, Beloit with Rev. Philip Rice officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME and again on Wednesday at CHURCH from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
