Nancy Gunn Obituary

Nancy Kay Gunn age 74 of Beloit died Wednesday June 9, 2021 in her home. She was born April 8, 1947 to the late Frank and Leora (Hudson) Pete in Beloit, WI. Nancy graduated from Beloit Catholic High School, class of 1965. She married Gordon Ray Gunn on December 4, 1965. In her younger years, Nancy enjoyed bowling on leagues, camping, fishing and being outdoors. Her family was always the center of her life. She enjoyed walks outside with her grandchildren and sitting outside in the sun. Nancy also enjoyed trips to Ho-Chunk with her husband and playing bingo. She liked to tend to her plants and flowers in her yard. Nancy was a great listener and a best friend to her daughters. She taught us all what true commitment looks like in marriage, how to have a positive outlook in life and how to laugh in good times and bad.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon Gunn; her two daughters, Victoria (Ben) Hoffman of Cedar Rapids, IA, Michele (Ray) Miller of Beloit; her grandsons, Jacob Miller of Beloit, Tristan Miller of Beloit, Christopher Hoffman of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Timothy Hoffman of Cedar Rapids, IA; her great granddaughter, Clara Hoffman of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her special niece, Cindy Berry who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, James Pete & Frank Pete and her In-laws, Shannon & Fern Gunn.
