Norbert "Nob" Stone Obituary

Norbert "Nob" Stone age 88 of Beloit, died Monday January 21, 2019 in his home. Nob was born September 1, 1930 to the late Thomas and Enola (Hahn) Stone in Beloit. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1949. Nob enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1952 and served his Country until his honorable discharge in 1954. He worked as a wholesale milkman until his retirement.

He is survived by his sister, Arnola Marks, his nieces and nephews, Gerald (Cecilia) Marks, Donald (Amy) Marks, John (Gretchen) Marks, Carol (Brian) Kapnick, Thomas (Lois) Brooks, Linda (Ronald) Ferrell, Stephen (Nancy) Stone, David (Mary) Stone, Ann Miller, John Stone and many great nieces, nephews and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Reita (Harold) Brooks, his brother Kenneth (Grace) Stone, his niece Laura Wheatly and his brother-in-law Vernon Marks.

Per Nob's request, no formal services will be held. He did request that all the people who knew him could honor his life by extending an act of kindness to a stranger in his memory. Please share a memory or a condolence with the Family on our website.
