Patricia "Pat" Raymond Obituary

Patricia M. Raymond age 89 of Beloit died Monday August 12, 2024 in her home. She was born July 4, 1935 to Vernon and Wilma (Schuette) Parker in Beloit, WI. Pat attended Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1953.  She married Leon “Ray” Raymond on May 25, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Beloit.  He preceded her in death on May 3, 2016. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and worked at Church secretary for many years. Then, Pat worked at Woodman’s Food Market until her retirement. While working at Woodman’s Pat enjoyed her pizza nights with her co-workers. Pat and Ray enjoyed traveling the United States in their motor home including spending winters in Arizona. Together they once caravanned with friends through Mexico. She loved watching football, especially her beloved Green Bay Packers. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Raymond of Beloit, her son, Rick (Kathy) Raymond of Huntington, IN, her six grandchildren, Cory (Amanda) Davis, Jeremy (Tammy) Raymond, Danielle Soldner, Ericka (Bryan) Mower, Jonathan (Emily) Soldner, and Aeryc (Rebecca) Soldner; five great grandchildren, Mikyla , Brooklyn, Olivia, Harvey, and Howard “Howie”; a half-brother George Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband and Brothers Tom, Joe, and Leonard, along with you beloved dog Kaitie.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beloit Regional Hospice for the care they gave our Mother.

Pat’s Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 17, 2024 in the BRIAN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, with the Rev. Randall Senn officiating.  The family will receive guests on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Lawns Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Pats’ name to Beloit Regional Hospice, 1904 E. Huebbe Parkway, Beloit. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
