Peter D. Hasse, age 80, of Beloit, WI passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 3,1946 to the late Delmas and Jacquin (Pattee) Hasse. Peter graduated from Fort Atkinson High School; class of 1964. He married Susan Diehls on September 17, 1978, in Rockton, IL at the Church by the Side of the Road. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and spent his career as a banker for First National Bank and Beloit State Bank. Peter loved traveling, woodworking, sailing, golfing, and cats. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and everything that came with being a husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Peter is survived by his wife, Susan, his son, Bryan (Brandi), his grandchildren, Caylen (Fabian) Posadas, Peyton, and Presley; his sister, Jackie Taylor; brothers-in-law, Fred Diehls, Dale Diehls, Larry Diehls; sister-in law, Mary (Mike) Warhus, and many extended family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Del and Fred Hasse.

The family would like to thank the staff at Autumn Lake Healthcare for their care and compassion as Pete was “Everyone’s favorite resident”.

The family would also like to thank the staff in the ICU at Beloit Memorial Hospital for the care they gave Pete.
