Randy Billington, 60, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2026. He was born May 24, 1965 in Elgin, IL to Gene and Mary-Lee Billington.
Randy proudly served his country in the National Guard from April, 1983 thru April 6, 1992. Outside of work, Randy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved biking, making food for family and friends, and traveling whenever he could. Always ready for an adventure, he kept a tent and a sleeping bag in his truck for spontaneous camping trips. Above all else, Randy valued his family and never missed a chance to see them, always showing up with his steady presence and support.
Randy is survived by his son, Eric (Brittni), his beloved grandsons, Derek and Drake, who brought him immense pride and happiness. His siblings, John (Vicki), Mark (Mare), Marie, Marsa (Dave), Roger (Lena), Brenda (Greg), Jana (Mike), and many nieces and nephews.
