Rhoda A. Stouffer

Rhoda A. Stouffer age 87 of Beloit died Friday December 13, 2019. She was born August 30, 1932 to the late Herman and Anna (Strause) Detert in Waterloo, WI. Rhoda attended Waterloo High School, class of  1950. She completed her education at Rockford Business College. She was a longtime and active member of Messiah Lutheran Church and instrumental in organizing the Church Fish Fry's.  Rhoda was employed at the Beloit Corp. for well over 40 year as the Engineering Librarian.

She is survived by her two sons,  Tim & Karen Battist of Beloit  and Joel & Kathy Stouffer of Machesney Park; her step daughter, Charlotte & Douglas Murga of Colorado; her five grandchildren, Matthew Battist, Paul (Micheala) Battist, AJ Stouffer,  CJ (Anthony) Freeman and Josh (Kristy) Stouffer; her four great grandchildren, Tatianna & Kaliyah Freeman and Ryan and Samantha Stouffer; daughter in law, Deborah Stouffer; her sister Lois Lemke and her sister in law, Lorraine Detert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Stouffer Sr., her two brothers, Carroll Detert and Milo Detert, her two sisters, Paula Detert & Phyllis Berry, her step daughter, Bonnie, and her two stepsons, Wayne Jr. and Michael.

Rhoda's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 20, 2019 at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1531 Townline Road, Beloit with Rev. Daniel Eddy officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday December 19, 2019 in the Brian Mark Funeral Home, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday in the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
