Rickie R. “Rick” Bailey, age 71 of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2025. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, on November 14, 1953, Rick was the son of Arnold and Ida Bailey. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1972. On June 7, 1975, Rick married the love of his life, Victoria (Worden) Bailey. Together, they shared nearly 49 years of marriage filled with laughter, devotion, and shared passions. Victoria preceded him in death on May 26, 2024. Rick built a fulfilling career in transportation and logistics, beginning at Beloit Corporation and later serving as a Logistics Coordinator for Johnson Controls until his retirement. He was known for his dedication, professionalism, and easygoing nature.
Rick and Vickie were proud members of the Pontiac Kappa Club, where they connected with fellow Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice owners. Together, they enjoyed countless road trips, ranging from Route 66 adventures to haunted trails and scenic winery visits. Their shared love for cars, travel, and companionship made for a life full of rich memories. In addition to their travels, Rick and Vickie were enthusiastic supporters of Furball Farms Cat Sanctuary in Minnesota. At home, they found great joy in the company of their beloved Pomeranians, Brandi and Bailey, and several cherished cats who were part of their family.
Rick is survived by his nephew, Chris Bailey, his sisters-in-law, Barb (Larry) Davis and Virgina Urbanowski; as well as a large extended family and many close friends who will miss his warm heart, steady presence, and gentle humor.
“Keep on cruising, Rick. The road ahead is yours.”
In accordance with Rick’s wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life honoring both Rick and Vickie will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Furball Farms Cat Sanctuary, 3405 220th Street East Faribault, MN 55021. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
