Robert R. “Bob” Haney, 93 of Beloit, WI passed away on August 7, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family. 

He was born on August 24, 1931, Hondo, New Mexico. The son of the late William Tolliver and Carry Edna (Fore) Haney.  Robert married Bettie M. Johnston on June 1951. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2020. 

Bob worked as a fork lift driver at Gallo Glass plant for 20 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Beloit, where he served as a Deacon. He loved to sing, listen to music, and tell good old jokes. Bob enjoyed having coffee with Ray Banks, eating his longhorn cheese, and of course carrying around his butterscotch candies. He was known as a hardworking, family oriented man. He enjoyed playing cards, board games, and fishing. Bob was always there for anyone that needed a helping hand. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. 

Survivors include his children, John (Jeanie) Haney, Edna (Roy) Fulkerson, and Ronnie Chadwick; son-in-law, Russ Smith; 11 grandchildren, Brian (Marissa) Fulkerson, Justin (Christina) Fulkerson, Michael (Annie) Fulkerson, Kimberly (Butch) Wright, Leonard Glover, Sarah (Adam) Wohlwend, Katherine Smith, Gregory (Valerie) Smith, Tyler (Nel) Haney, Traci (Rob Baumeister) Haney and Trisha Haney; 17 great grandchildren;  21 great great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Cameron; numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse; son, William Haney; grandson William L. Haney; daughter Helen Smith, and siblings Bill Haney, Beatrice Christensen, and Hazel Yandrish.  

The family would like to give a special thanks, to granddaughter and caregiver Trisha, for her compassion and care she has given Bob throughout the years, as well as Beloit Regional Hospice. 

Funeral services for Bob will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church, 1850 Townline Road, Beloit, with Rev. Randy Wandell officiating. A visitation of will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Beloit, WI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family.
