Robert W. Larson

Robert William Larson, age 91 of Beloit passed away Thursday February 6, 2020 in his home. He was born December 21, 1928 to the late William and Leona (Clinger) Larson in Darlington, WI. Bob graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1947. He married Luanne Lewis on June 18, 1949 in Madison. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2004. Bob owned and operated Larson Floor and Larson Installations until his retirement. Being a floor installer he passed his trade down to his sons and grandsons. He was a Past Commodore and present Admiral at the Star Zenith Boat Club. Bob enjoyed hard work, deer hunting, boating, fishing, square dancing, his beer, loud music, and hanging out at his favorite watering hole ,"The Club."

He is survived by his three children, Tom Larson, Joel Larson and Scott (Eileen) Larson, all of Beloit; six grandchildren, Dawn, Jonathan, Sarah, Emily, Daniel and Mindee (Mark); two great grand children Minessa, Shayne; brothers Norman (Sharon) Lason, Norbert Larson, Bill Larson; sisters Mary Hogan, Linda (Dave) Showers, Joan (Gary) Fielder, Gerri Tackes, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Luanne, sister Barb, great granddaughter Sydnee, brother in laws Ron, Dennis; sister in law Sandy; his cat Carmel; and his dog Mr. Mutly.

Bob's Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday February 12, 2020 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit. Friends will be received on Wednesday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial in Baldwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
