Robert C. Uppenkamp, 94, of Beloit, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at Rock Haven Assisted Living in Janesville. Bob was born on December 23, 1930 to the late Charles and Adeline (Seger) Uppenkamp. He married the love of his life Suzanne Hughes on September 11, 1954, she preceded him in death on April 5, 2024. Together they shared 70 years of marriage. 

Bob was a member of 44th QM co, of the 44th infantry division of the Illinois National Guard. He was called to active duty in 1952. Bob spent 40 plus years as a journeyman for National Lock in Rockford, IL. He was a member of the American Legion, a faithful member of People’s Church in Beloit, as well as the NRA. Bob enjoyed fishing, and in his younger years was a collector of model trains, but most of all he loved being a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. 

Bob is survived by, sons, Tom (Brenda), James (Carrie), : grandchildren, Brant(Mélissa), Justin, Mallory (Torry), Emily (Geoff), Allison, Andrew(Abby), Jetta, Garrett; great-grandchildren:, Carter, Story, Aubree, Thomas, as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Suzanne, son; Charles Uppenkamp, and sister, Charlene Mowers.

A memorial service will take place at Brian Mark Funeral Home- 1000 E Inman PKWY, Beloit, WI on February 19, 2026 at 12PM. A short visitation will take place at 11:30AM until the service. Military honors will take place following the service. A Luncheon will be held at People’s Church following military honors- 340 W Grand Ave, Beloit, WI.
