Robert “Bob” Clark, age 93, of Clinton/Delavan died in his home on Friday, January 17, 2025, with his loving sons by his side. He was born October 25, 1931 in Beloit, WI to Thomas and Arlene (Poole) Clark. Bob grew up in South Beloit, IL. He graduated from South Beloit High School, Class of 1949. Bob enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1952 and served his Country until his honorable discharge on June 24, 1954. After returning home he married Jane A. Peckham at the Old Stone Church in Rockton, IL on October 16, 1954. She preceded him in death on February 9, 2024.
Shortly after marrying, Bob started work at the Citizens State Bank of Clinton, moving to Clinton where they would remain for 67 years until moving to Delavan in December 2022. After 25 years at the Bank Bob moved on to work in the Central office for the South Beloit Schools and then selling real estate in Janesville for 17 years. After retiring he found what he described his favorite job working at the clubhouse at George Williams Golf Course in Williams Bay.
Bob kept a beautiful garden outside of his home and enjoyed the outdoors camping with his growing family and later making trips to his son’s cabin in St. Germain. He loved to play golf until his health prevented that. He cherished all of his family and loved any family gathering
Bob is survived by his sons: Michael Clark and William (Pamela) Clark; grandchildren: Daniel (Turi) Clark, Jonathan (Sarah Heyer) Clark, Timothy (Sophia Musacchio) Clark, Nathan Clark, Kaitlynn Clark, and Micaela (Nick) Ross; great-grandchildren: Zavier, Natalie, and Irene.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, his son, James Clark; and brother, Thomas Clark; and a sister-in-law: Maurine Clark.
The family would like to thank the staff at Agrace Hospice, for their dedication and care they gave to Bob.
