Rodney A. Miethke, 49, of Clinton passed away on July 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 1, 1977 in Burlington, WI, the son of Kenneth “Butch” Jr. and Margaret “Maggie” Miethke. Rod graduated from Burlington High School, class of 1995. He married his “Lovely Bride” Darlene Berger on January 26, 2005, together they shared 25 years of marriage. 

Rod was an incredibly loyal man who always showed up for his loved ones. He loved to cook; especially his award winning chili, grill, smoke a good cigar, have a glass of whiskey, and cheer on the Green Bay Packers. He loved his dog, and was always described as “Rod’s the best.” Above all, Rod genuinely loved his family, loved his wife, and fiercely loved his children. 

Survivors include his wife, Darlene, 4 children; Madeline, Bradyn, Bruin “Gus”, and Titus Miethke, his parents, Kenneth and Margaret Miethke, brother, Kenneth J.(Kathleen) Miethke III, close friends; Michael Olson, Darin McDonough, Jeremy Bousman, Paul Newbury, his loyal dog, Chance, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Dorothy Miethke, John and Eva Lee, uncle, Mike Lee, and close friend, Chad Boulden.
