Ronald Katalin age 85 of Beloit, died Monday, January 6, 2025 at Sun Valley West in Beloit. He was born May 1, 1939 to Joseph and Kathryn (Reaffelie) Katalin in Trimountain, MI. Ronald graduated from Jeffers High School, class of 1957. Ron married Judy Beedy on May 1, 1962 at St. Jude’s Church in Beloit, WI. He enjoyed his job as a landscaper and also worked as a truck driver for many years until his retirement. Ron enjoyed sports especially hockey. He was an avid Packer and Badgers fan.  

He is survived by his wife, Judy Katalin; his children, Lisa (Jeremy) Nichols, Pam Wolfe & Mark Katalin; his eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and his brother Michael Katalin.

Ron’s Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 18, 2025 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Friends will be received on Friday in the Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
