Russell J. Wilson

Russell J. Wilson age 79, of Elkhorn died Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.  He was born November 1, 1941 the son of James and Margaret (Banks) Wilson in Beloit. Russ graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1959. He married Sandra L. Jones on June 29, 1963 in Rockford, IL. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2007. Russ worked as a machinist for Warner Electric for 41 years until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed wood working, riding his Harley and meticulously maintaining his yard. Russ was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a Matt Kenseth Racing fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Chuck) Miller; his son, Jeff (Joyce) Wilson; his four grandsons, Mitchell (Hannah) Miller and their daughter, Tenlee, Alec Miller, Luke Wilson and Logan Wilson; his brother, Phil Wilson and his sister, Myrna Fairman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
