Sandra Ramquist Obituary

Sandra J. Ramquist, 84, of Beloit, passed away on July 15, 2025 at Beloit Senior Living. She was born on March 3, 1941 to the late Harry and Elsie (Kottke) Kellor. She married Carl H. Ramquist Jr. on May 3, 1981. Together they shared 42 years of marriage. Sandra was an administrative assistant for Beloit Corporation for many years. 

Sandra loved camping up north in Eagle River; crafting; knitting and needle work; traveling; playing cards and board games; she loved playing cribbage with her husband; and also playing bingo. She was a member of St. Matthews Church in Janesville, and was an active member and enjoyed serving with LWMS (Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society). She was also a member of the Sweet Adelines; sold Avon and Stamping up; but above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. 

Survivors include her step-children; Carl (Lori) Ramquist III, Cynthia (Tim) Schultz, Corey (Nancy) Ramquist, Cheri Ramquist; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Claude (Lynn) Ramquist; sister-in-law, Darlene Breden; special niece, Charlene (Randy) Schulmeister; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents; husband; step-daughter, Catherine Olson; brother, Duane (Vera) Kellor; sister, Maxine (Brad) Dolbey; her favorite dog, Holly. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Beloit Senior Living, and Beloit Regional Hospice for the special care given to Sandra.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, 709 Milton Ave., Janesville, WI. Visitation will take place from 10AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place after the luncheon at Turtleville Cemetery, 3836 E Creek Rd, Beloit. A visitation will take place from 5PM-7PM on Monday July 28, 2025, at Brian Mark Funeral Home, 1000 E Inman Pkwy, Beloit. The family is being assisted by ROSMAN & BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME.
