Shirley Ann Hodges, 90, of Beloit, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Autumn Lake Nursing Home.
She was born July 3, 1935, in Brodhead, WI; the daughter of the late John and Freda (Wenger) Husi.
Shirley married Ronald Hodges on October 30, 1954. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2023.
Shirley enjoyed collecting ladybug knick-knacks, cooking, baking, doing arts and crafts, playing Skip-Bo and stamping. She was a huge Brewers fan. Shirley was proud of her family's Swiss heritage, and her ability to yodel. Her faith in the Lord was also very important to her.
Survivors include her children Dan Hodges, Steve (Phyliss) Hodges, Tom (Janet) Hodges, Beth (Justin Mansfield) Hodges, Joel Hodges, and Ben (Melissa) Hodges; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Husi and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, and son Jonathan Hodges; brother-in-law, George and daughter-in-law Debbie Hodges.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Brian Mark Funeral Home, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit; with Pastor Daniel Stertz officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit.
