Susan G. Siler

Susan G. Siler passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on May 18, 2023, at Mercy Hospital surrounded by her family.  She was born December 3, 1953, to John and Gladys (Langrehr) Gustafson in Beloit, WI.  She attended Beloit Memorial High School.  Susan loved watching cooking shows, especially the Pioneer Woman. She had many jobs over the years, dedicating most of her time to Homecare Pharmacy; until she was able to enjoy her time each day with her grandchildren who gave her much joy.  Susan loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her three children, Ryan (Bobbie) Siler, Brent (Trisha) Siler and Shelby (Mark) Farberg. Grandchildren, Samantha and Joseph Healey, Aaron and Easton Farberg, and Avery and Sydney Siler.  Siblings, Kathy (Steve) Nilson, Steve (Diane) Gustafson, Mark Gustafson, Deb McMillan, and Jeff (Lori) Gustafson, and many nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Aunt Susie”.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, and her nephew Andrew and niece Sarah.

The family would like to thank the special care unit at Mercy Hospital, specifically Amanda, Laura and Allison.  Her final gift was the donation of sight to two people.

Susan’s Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Redeemer Covenant Church 2500 Prairie Avenue, Beloit, with Pastor Chris Carlson officiating.  Friends will be received on Wednesday May 24, 2023, in the Brian Mark Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday in Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
