Clinton – Susan “Susie” Kay Bottoms, age 68, of Clinton, WI, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on September 24, 1957, in Elkhorn, WI to Henry and Janet Schilke.   

Susie graduated from Big Foot High School in 1975. She met the love of her life Tom Bottoms in 1981, and they got married on July 13, 1985, at Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church. After many years working together at The Butterfly Supper Club, Susie and Tom bought Red’s Supper Club in 1997, located in Cuba City, WI, where they owned and operated the business until 2007.  Susie and Tom moved back to Clinton to be closer to family as she was enjoying her retirement. 

Susie enjoyed taking rides on her Harley with Tom, including a once in a lifetime trip down Route 66. She was the first to step up and help anyone in need and was a top fundraiser for the MDA Tub Run for many years. Susie was strong in her faith and loved Jesus and her church family. If you lived in Clinton, you have more than likely seen Susie walking her beloved dog Rosebud rain or shine. Through the winter months when Susie wasn’t on her bike, you could find her with friends and family rooting for the Packers.   

Susie is survived by her husband of 40 years Tom Bottoms, her daughter Kati Miller (Rick), grandchildren, Alex Neuwirth, Addie Miller and Owen Miller, her fur daughter Rosebud, her sister Barb Norris (Dan), her niece Carrie Lee (Michael) and nephew Eric Lee (Brooke) and great nephews Brexton and Roanen.  Along with so many amazing family and friends. 

Susie is preceded in death by her parents Janet and Henry Schilke; her brother Mark Schilke; and her in-laws Fran and Cy Bottoms. And so many additional family and friends that have gone far too soon. 

A visitation will be held at Brian Mark Funeral Home, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Please wear your Harley gear or green and gold outfits to the Wednesday visitation. A funeral service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon, WI on Thursday, December 4, 2025; visitation starts at 10am before the 11am service.
