Suzanne M. Uppenkamp

Suzanne M. Uppenkamp age 92 of Beloit died April 5, 2024 at Azura Memory Care. She was born January 3, 1932 to Marlin and Vera (Halverson) Hughes in Beloit, WI. Suzanne graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1950. She married Robert Uppenkamp on September 11, 1954 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. He survives. Suzanne was a superb homemaker. She was a past member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and played the pipe organ and piano at church. Suzanne was a present member of Peoples Church and enjoyed the bell choir, and teaching in Sunday school and vacation bible school. She will be remembered as a true servant of God & community.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Robert; her two sons, Tom (Brenda) Uppenkamp & Jim (Carrie) Uppenkamp; her daughter in law, Jeanine O’Brien; eight grandchildren; Brant (Melissa Coquillat) Uppenkamp, Justin (Lee) Uppenkamp, Mallory (Torry) Leonard, Jetta Uppenkamp, Garrett Uppenkamp, Andrew (Abby) Waldron, Emily (Geoff) Grisham & Allison O’Brien; her four great grandchildren, Carter, Story, Aubree & Thomas;  and her sister, Linda (David) Lemoine.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Chuck.

Suzanne’s Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Rev. Ron Tefft officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday in the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be private. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
