Terence "Terry" Eytalis Obituary

Terence “Terry” Eytalis, 64, of Beloit, WI, passed away on September 2, 2024. Born in Rockford, IL, on July 1, 1960. He was the son of the Late Anthony and Juanita Eytalis.


Terry was a proud graduate of Auburn High School ’78. Terry had quite a few hobbies in his educational years, including cub scouts, swimming, wrestling, football, and shot put. After high school he played football for the Semi-Pro Rockford Rams. He was known for his dedication to his work at MacFarlane Pheasant Farm, Valspar, Mullers Pinehurst, as well as a Bouncer “Quake” at The Carom Room and Pulaski’s.


Terry was a die-hard fan of the Detroit Lions, enjoyed fishing with his son, Joe, as well with many friends. He enjoyed several interests such as, shooting pool on many leagues or for leisure to spend time with his “Carom Room Kids”, family and good friends, as well as spending a day shooting his collection of guns. Above all, he got the greatest joy from being a grandpa.


Terence was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Juanita Eytalis, his brother, William, and brother-in-law, Ron Armstrong. Terence is survived by his three children, Erica (Sam) Boulnois, Stephanie (Eric) Magnussen, and Joe Eytalis. His two pride and joy grandchildren, Lukas and Chloe Magnussen. His siblings, Tom “Skip” (Sue) Eytalis, Paula Eytalis, his twin brother, Tony Eytalis, and Linda Schumacher. Numerous nieces, nephews, and countless cousins.


His children would like to say a special Thank You to the amazing nurses, CNAs, and caregivers that have helped our Dad over the years. A special Thank You to the many friends at the Olympian Apartments, whom made his time there more enjoyable, especially Mark and Karen.


Terry’s family will be having a private service at a later date, per his wishes.
