Theresa A. Stott, age 75 of Beloit died Thursday December 26, 2024 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born August 23, 1949 to Jim and Evelyn (Davis) Spahos in Beloit, WI. Theresa graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, class of 1968. She married Robert Stott on October 10, 1970 at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Beloit, WI.  He preceded her in death on June 11, 1989. Theresa was a life long member and an active parishioner in many groups at St. Paul’s. In her younger years Theresa was employed at her family’s restaurant “The Lunch Bucket” in Beloit in her younger years. Theresa was a wonderful homemaker, while the kids were growing up. She worked as a Para professional with special needs kids at Hononegah High School, for 10 years. Theresa enjoyed her time working in the Holiday Sweet Shop and the Old Rectory Sales group at St. Paul. She also enjoyed her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Theresa also had a love for baking sweets, and playing games, including her time spent at Grinnell Hall. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Theresa will be remembered for her contagious laugh, positive attitude and love of family & life.

Theresa is survived by her two sons, David Stott & Tod (Connie) Stott; her grandchildren Tyler (Brittney) Stott and Jarid Stott, Garrett (Anya) Ostenson and Lauryn Ostenson; her great grandson Wallace Stott; her siblings Dennis (Joannie) Spahos, and Debbie (Jerry) Gorychka; her sister-in-law Jackie Stott-Borst and many other, nieces, nephews, special friends, family and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant brother Timothy Spahos, and Niece Tammy Spahos.

The family would like to thank Elizabeth Bach and Jamie Ostenson for all of their support, love and friendship to Theresa through the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Theresa’s life at 12:00 Noon on Saturday January 4, 2025 at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 212 W. Grand Ave. Beloit. Friends will be received on Saturday in the Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. Burial will be private at East Lawn Cemetery.
