Thomas "Tom" C. Holmes

Thomas "Tom" C. Holmes, age 82, of Rockford, IL passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at PA Peterson at the Citadel in Rockford, IL. He was born February 22, 1939 to the late Thomas B. and Charlotte (Clement) Holmes in Hackensack, New Jersey. Tom married Bernice Burkins on August 16, 1972.

He is survived by his wife Bernice, his daughter Cindy (Mike) Mathison; his granddaughter, Carie (Mike); his grandson, Corey (Mary Ellen); seven great grandsons; his sister, Kathy Kole; his sister in law, Florence (John) Fritsch; numerous nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom's Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 in the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Rev. Bertie Holmgren officiating. Burial to follow the service in Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere, IL.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
