Tosten E. Ellingson Jr.

Tosten E. Ellingson Jr. died Monday, February 20th, at home. He was born August 24, 1949 the son of Tosten and Avis (Summerfield) Ellingson Sr. in Beloit, WI. Tosten graduated from Clinton High School in 1968.  As a young man Tosten farmed with his father in Clinton.  He also enjoyed playing dice and playing Santa for twenty years at Ben’s Tree Farm in Illinois.  Tosten also worked at McHenry Brake Parts for approximately twenty-three years.

 He is survived by his daughters, Theresa (Travis) Wyldes, and Emillee Ellingson and his sister, Marilee Bancroft. Tosten is also survived by two grandchildren, Tyler Wyldes and Tricia (Cody) Johnson and four great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Kathy Brown and brother-in-law, Walt Bancroft.

 A private family celebration of life will be held on Father’s Day, June 18th, 2023 at the family home.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
