Obituary

Val Schole, beloved brother, Son, uncle & friend, age 63 of Clinton passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023, He was born April 19, 1960, to the late Orlin & Susan (Rose) Schole in Beloit. Val graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1978. He worked in the warehouse at Delong Co. for many years and at the Beloit Memorial Hospital as a security guard until his death.

He enjoyed reading about history, going on walks, and sharing jokes with family and friends. Val was an avid Chicago Cubs, Minnesota Viking, and Wisconsin Badgers fan. He loved being an uncle and a great uncle. Val will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. His presence will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sister, Carol (Todd) Mishler; nephew, Trevor Mishler; niece, Rachel (Justin) Charron and great niece, Josephine Pearl Charron and great nephew, Forrest Alan Charron. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Val was always more concerned about other peoples’ well-being rather than his own.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Val’s request there will be no formal funeral services. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on our website.
