Brian Mark Funeral Home is especially proud of the role our veterans have played in the freedoms we enjoy today. We offer specialty packages developed to honor each veteran’s service. Our veterans deserve the utmost respect, they will be given full military honors and interment in a local, state or national cemetery.

Honorably Discharged Veterans may be eligible for  the following items:

  • American Flag
  • Military Rites (including gun salute, playing of Taps, and the folding and presenting the flag) performed at the cemetery or place of service.
  • Burial in a National or State owned Veterans Cemetery
  • Veterans Headstone or Marker
  • In some cases, monetary benefits may be available
  • In addition, Brian Mark Funeral Home provides a complimentary protective flag case. The family is asked to provide a copy of the discharge papers (DD214) in order for us to assist them in obtaining those benefits.

Arlington Park National Cemetery
Arlington, Virginia

Arlington National Cemetery is a national cemetery under the jurisdiction of the Department of the army. 

The primary mission of the Arlington National Cemetery is to function as the nation’s premier military cemetery and shrine honoring those men and women who served int the Armed Forces.  In this regard, the cemetery performs over 27 funeral service each day.  the cemetery also has become an increasingly popular visitor attraction in the National Capital area,  serving approximately four million visitors annually.
